ALBANY, GA -- A Georgia author comes to Albany to promote his political thriller--although he says it’s more thriller than politics.

Doug Dahlgren spent his high school years in Albany and was signing copies of his book, “Silas Rising” at Merry Acres Inn Saturday afternoon.

The main character is a man who is motivated to eliminate an evil layer of people who occupy congress.

“It's not based on politics as such by left or right, it's just based on people who we all know must exist in the back of your mind, the type of people in congress who use their political position and power to stay in power,” says Dahlgren.

There are three books in The Son series and you can find them all at amazon.com.
