A Friday afternoon accident blocks roads in NW Albany

ALBANY, GA -- A three car accident brought traffic to a standstill Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 4 p.m. traffic came to a stop at the intersection of Stuart Avenue and Palmyra Road in Northwest Albany.

Officers say no one was seriously injured.

One car t-boned another, while a third car was sent crashing into a pole.

Officers got traffic moving shortly after the accident and both roads were clear within 45 minutes.
