The Dawson Police Department says they received a call early Thursday morning regarding shots fired
DAWSON, GA -- A man was found shot outside a Terrell County residence early this morning.
The Dawson Police Department received a call at 4:42 a.m. in reference to shots fired. When they arrived, officers found the man outside a home on 1st Avenue near Plum Avenue. The home was also set on fire.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now working on the investigation.
The owner of the Terrell County home did not want to speak at this time, but did have friends and neighbors helping him look for items in the rubble.
