ALBANY, GA. -- Albany authorities say since they're noticing an increase in property crimes, they're going to provide a way to help business and home owners protect their belongings.
Albany Police Department’s 1st Annual Security Seminar will be held on September 24th at the Albany Civic Center.
Churches, home and business owners are invited to come out and gather information on how to protect what’s theirs.
Vendors will be showcasing security products and new technology that can be used to combat property crimes.
A few businesses are already on board to present in the seminar but officials are reaching out so that more vendors will participate.
“If anybody has any technology that people need to be aware of in securing their businesses or homes or churches, we would like them to participate in this first annual seminar,” said Albany Police Media Representative Phyllis Banks.
There are no vendor charges and the event is free to the public.
If you would like to participate in this event contact Phyllis Banks at 229-483-6298.
