Dairy Queen holds sixth annual fundraiser for Children's Miracle Network

ALBANY, GA -- If you bought a Blizzard from Dairy Queen Thursday, you also donated to a good cause.

Dairy Queen held their sixth annual fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network, an organization that raises money for more than 100 hospitals across the country.

“We are East Albany Dairy Queen, and we are participating in children’s miracle network, and we are going to be donating a dollar for every blizzard that's sold today,” said Brittany Harrison, an employee and the owner’s daughter.

The Dairy Queen in East Albany was the city’s only participating location.
