River Road Extended Day Learning Center held a community field day fundraiser to raise funds.

ALBANY, GA -- Officials at an Albany outreach center say they're going to have to close their doors unless they can raise more money to keep it open.

Today, the River Road Extended Day Learning Center held a community field day fundraiser.

They rolled out bouncy houses and had a yard sale in an effort to raise money for the center.

“We really believe that we are providing a good service, and a safe environment for the kids. Our teachers are really dedicated to instructing the kids, not only on the education side, but they also get some faith based information also,” said Antron Patton.

Those looking to help can drop off donations at the center on 2023 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive or call (229) 435-6464.
