Updated with video; Health officials say there have been some cases in the city.

ALBANY, GA -- For today’s Facebook Story of the Day you wanted to know if bed bugs are a problem in Albany.

Dwayne Tanner, the district environmental health director, said while there have been some cases in the city, the bugs are not too much of a problem. “We’ve had a few cases in some of the hotels, but I haven’t really seen a problem. But, yes, we've had some cases.”

Tanner said bed bugs travel on luggage and clothes. He said they are more common in hotels than households, but can be transferred to residential areas.
