ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Police Department needs your help identifying the suspect in a burglary that took place at the On the Go Food Store at 500 South Jefferson Street on July 19th.

They say the man broke into a register and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer. He also rummaged through cabinets and placed various items in a plastic bag before exiting the store.

The suspect is a black male with a light complexion and beard. APD says they believe he was last wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt and a ball cap.

Anyone with information regarding his identity or whereabouts can call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS or the Criminal Investigations Bureau at (229) 431-3288.
