A boy from Doerun was accidentally killed while on vacation

TAMPA, FLORIDA -- A Southwest Georgia boy has died after being accidentally run over by a car while on vacation with his family in Tampa Florida.
According to the Tampa Police Department 5-year-old Cameron Lewis of Doerun was with his immediate family visiting extended family in Tampa.
The family was at a convenience store when a 33-year-old female driver in an SUV backed up and ran over the child.
Lewis was taken to the Tampa General Hospital in critical condition where he later died.
Authorities say no charges will be filed because Tampa Police concluded it was an accidental death.
