An Albany teenager will spend most of her young life behind bars.

Dougherty County District Attorney Greg Edwards confirmed that 16-year-old Ladronda Hamilton was sentenced to 25 years in prison and she’ll have to serve at least 14 of them.

Hamilton plead guilty to the 2009 stabbing death of 12-year-old Shawn Williams after an argument at an Albany trailer park.

Hamilton was 14-years-old at the time of the stabbing.
