Local law enforcement traveled to Forsyth to honor Lt. Cliff Rouse

Several Southwest Georgia law enforcement officials went to Forsyth this weekend to honor some of their own.

Officials visited the Georgia Public Safety Memorial which was established to recognize officials who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The men and women were honored in the state’s memorial program in which new names were added to the wall.

Lt. Cliff Rouse from the Dougherty County Police who died in December 2010 was one of the new names.
