Fire officials say a part on a hay baler sparked a fire that took out a Worth County wheat field

WARWICK, GA -- A fire takes out nearly six acres of a wheat field in Worth County on Friday.

At approximately 2:30 Friday afternoon, fire crews were called to a field near Red Oak Road and Highway 32. Fire officials say part of a hay baler blew out, sparking the fire in the wheat field.

They say it took them approximately 20 to 30 minutes to extinguish it.
