Dougherty County officials release a tentative SPLOST VI budget
ALBANY, GA. -- The top six projects receiving funding includes:
- $250,000 for drainage improvement projects
- $216,000 to replace some Dougherty County Police vehicles
- $200,000 for the Dougherty County Jail security cameras and facility upgrades
- $195,000 for Fire Department Equipment
- $123,000 for Hugh Mills Stadium to get a new scoreboard
- $100,000 for the Flint RiverQuarium to get touch screen computers
