ALBANY, GA. -- Thursday was a day of celebration and global education for Marines at Albany’s Marine Corps Logistics Base.

MCLB held its annual Unity and Multicultural Day this afternoon.

Marines and their families had the opportunity to visit multiple booths filled with ethnic food and cultural information.

"It’s important to create cultural awareness, to learn about different cultures and to appreciate what they bring," said U.S.M.C. Gunnery Sgt. Terrell Rountree.

This is the seventh year of the MCLB Unity Celebration.
