Carlos Mitchell pleads guilty to murder

ALBANY, GA. -- An Albany man was sentenced to life in prison without parole today.

25-year-old Carlos Mitchell pled guilty to the murder of 58-year-old Johnnie Williams in December of 2010.

Prosecutors say Mitchell stabbed Williams to death in her home during a robbery.

The felony murder charge carried the possibility of a death sentence for Mitchell.
