Partnership to deliver more news to readers, viewers
ALBANY, GA. -- Southwest Georgia’s leading news organizations are teaming up to help keep you informed.
Beginning in April, page two of each day’s edition of the Albany Herald will be devoted to local weather coverage provided by FOX 31 News.
And each night at 10 p.m., FOX 31 News will preview the major news stories covered in the next day’s edition of the Albany Herald.
"We think this is actually just the beginning and that it’s going to lay a foundation for our organizations to do bigger and better things and ultimately something that will benefit your viewers and our readers," said Mike Gebhart, publisher of the Albany Herald.
WFXL President and CEO Brenda Holloway released this statement:
"We are very excited about the collaboration we have formed with The Albany Herald. Mike Gebhart was one of the first people I met when I came to Albany, and we immediately began exchanging ideas on what we could do to help the community be more informed. I like to form partnerships with forward-thinking people and I believe this is a good match," said Holloway.
