A local doctor and his wife are arrested by the drug unit
ALBANY, GA -- Dr. John Temple Phillips IV and Amy Phillips were arrested Friday afternoon.
They were both charged with possession of a controlled substance schedule 2 and 3.
The duo were caught when a pharmacy alerted the Albany Dougherty Drug Unit because of suspicious prescriptions.
Both were arrested and have since been released on a $10,000 bond each with the condition that they both go into a drug treatment program.
