Annual sale benefits children

ALBANY, GA. -- Albany lunch-goers with a sweet tooth got a unique chance to indulge today.

The March of Dimes held its annual bake sale at the Government Center from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

The cookies, cakes, and cinnamon concoctions were all donated by volunteers and staff from Albany Recreation and Parks, the Civic Center, and the Auditorium.

Organizers say the bake sale usually brings in at least $200.
