ALBANY, GA -- A local church is reaching out to their youth and their community at the same time.

River Road Church of Christ is participating in the 28th annual tri-city Youth Rally, which focuses on uplifting the youth.

As part of the event, they thought they'd help out the community as well by holding a health fair open to the public.

“There's also two community service projects going on this morning. We had one youth group that cooked breakfast and served breakfast to those in need in our community and we also have a group that's out cleaning storm drains,” Said Antron Patton, a youth ministry worker.

In addition to a blood drive, they also put on a play titled "Church Folkz", where they also collected canned goods for Second Harvest Food Bank of southwest Georgia.
