The Albany Hooters location has closed its doors for good

ALBANY, GA. -- Hooters Franchise Director Shawn Parks says for the past two years the restaurant has seen a steady decline in sales and store officials were unable to negotiate terms for a new lease.

The restaurant employed 34 employees.  Parks says the franchise still owns nine other Hooters locations.

The Albany Hooters ended its 10 year run after Superbowl XLV.
