Police say they arrested 35-year-old Jason Henry Griffin and 25-year-old Brittany Amber Sizemore for the theft of an 18-foot flatbed trailer, and while they were there found drug paraphernalia.
Major Bill Berry with the Albany-Dougherty Drug Unit says while conducting an arrest warrant at the 1600 block of Palmyra, investigators found methamphetamine on Griffin. He says they then executed a search warrant and recovered marijuana, pills and methamphetamine.
Berry says Griffin, Sizemore and another suspect found in the house are charged with Possession of Marijuana (less than one ounce). Griffin is also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (less than two grams).
Berry says more charges will be made once they determine what the pills are.
The Albany Police Department, the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the Terrell County Sheriff's Office and the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office also collaborated in the efforts.
Griffin and Sizemore were originally wanted in connection with the theft of an 18-foot flatbed from a construction site on January 17 at the 1500 block of Palmyra Road.
