ALBANY, GA. -- Since Thursday at 6 p.m. Georgia State Patrol has reported 328 crashes, 184 injuries, and 12 deaths.

Three of those deaths were in Southwest Georgia.

Sunday evening the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department responded to a fatal accident on Highway 112 North of Camilla.

Georgia State Patrol says yesterday afternoon 40-year-old Curtis Hudson Junior died after his GMC Sierra slammed into a tree off of Colquitt-Ford Road in Baker County.

GSP is also currently investigating a pedestrian fatality in Coffee County that killed 59-year-old Raymond Martin.  Martin was reportedly walking at the intersection of Georgia Highway 135 and New Forrest Highway when he was struck and killed.  No charges have been filed at this time.

The New Year’s holiday weekend traffic count will end Sunday at midnight.
