BURKE COUNTY, GA -- A Georgia man has surrendered to police for killing 19 dogs and dumping the bodies on a road in Burke County.
52-year-old Charles Frank Strother of Wadley reportedly told police investigators that he raised dogs and believed the ones that he shot and killed were dangerous.
Burke County Public Works employees found the dogs last week, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Police say Strother could face 20 charges of illegal dumping for the dogs and the tarp they were found in.
