ALBANY, GA -- Hundreds of people received a full thanksgiving meal thanks to a community outreach group Tuesday.

T.E.A.M. Community outreach put on their annual free dinner. They also gave out free groceries and clothes for families in need. They say the economy has brought out a lot more people than in years past.

“You do have people that are working citizens that may have got laid off, that lost their jobs, or have cuts, people have furlough days. There are some many things that are going on, so this is an opportunity for them to also get what they need,” said Ava O’Neal, of T.E.A.M. Community Outreach.

More than 300 people came out to eat thanksgiving dinner.
