AAA reports retail gas prices will not spike for the rest of the Thanksgiving travel week

ALBANY, GA -- AAA says consumers can expect a break this holiday weekend when it comes to paying for gas. They say they expect gas prices in Georgia to be between $2.75 and $2.85 this week. AAA say prices are not expected to increase anymore during the week.

Gas prices during this year’s Thanksgiving travel are 26 cents higher per gallon than last year.

Gas prices in the Peach State have fallen two cents compared to last week. Sunday the average cost for gas in Georgia was $2.72. Last week the national average was $2.87 per gallon.
