With Thanksgiving less than a week away, King Solomon Lodge 14 took it upon themselves to feed the community

ALBANY, GA -- With Thanksgiving less than a week away, King Solomon Lodge 14 took it upon themselves to feed the community.

Turkey and chicken were on the menu at this year’s free community dinner. Michael Richard is with King Solomon Lodge 14. ”We’re out feeding the community. It’s something we’ve been doing for over 18 years, started by one of our past masters and we want continue the legacy,” says Richard.

About 250 people came out for a free meal. Folks who showed up for the hot meal say they appreciate what the group does for the community and hope others will follow their lead.

King Solomon Lodge 14 is planning on spreading more holiday cheer next month. They're planning to hand out Christmas baskets to families.
