The RSVP/Phoebe Ramp Builders donate ramp to couple

ALBANY, GA -- Two Albany residents have a much-needed addition to their home thanks to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program and Phoebe Putney.

Jim Hill and the RSVP ramp builder team installed a 99 ft. ramp on the home of Hardwick and Leila Grant.

Because of health problems, the Grants have a difficult time getting in and out of their home.

Leila Grant hopes the ramp will give her husband a new lease on life.

"He's been trying to hold to come up the steps," said Leila Grant. "He'll be able to come on up here."

The RSVP team has installed 6 miles worth of ramps in the last year.
