COLQUITT COUNTY, GA -- Deputies with the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Department arrest two men for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl from Moultrie who had run away from home.

30-year-old Torronza McNeal is charged with rape, aggravated assault, and false imprisonment. 40-year-old Calvin Harrison is charged with rape.  Both men were arrested Tuesday.

Deputies were called to a house on Anderson Drive about 11 p.m. Monday concerning a runaway juvenile.  Deputies say they spoke with a woman who said her 16-year-old daughter walked away from her house following an argument, and she was seen heading toward Highway 133.

Officers searched the area but could not find the girl.  Just before 5 a.m. Tuesday, a Moultrie police officer was called to Sixth Street Southeast.  An unknown person reported seeing a girl wearing a black dress walking near the Roses Shopping Center.

Police searched the area and found the girl, and the deputy was notified.  While waiting for the deputy to arrive, the girl told the police officer she had been raped by two black men.

When the deputy arrived, he drove the girl around the area with the officer behind to try and locate where the alleged rape took place. The girl identified a house on Ninth Avenue Southeast.  Officers found McNeal and Harrison inside and placed them under arrest.

They were taken to Colquitt County Jail.  The girl was taken to Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
