22-year-old Ellison Matthews is charged with the murder and sexual abuse of a 2-year-old girl
DEKALB COUNTY, GA -- A Georgia man is accused of killing a 2-year-old girl. Authorities in Dekalb County charged 22-year-old Ellison Matthews with murder and first degree cruelty to children, reported WAGA FOX 5 in Atlanta.
Police say Matthews was babysitting the toddler when she died, and that she had been sexually abused. Police say her twin brother and her 6-year-old and 1-year-old siblings are now in the custody of the state.
The girl’s mother, 29-year-old Michelle Spinks, is the daughter of former boxing champ Michael Spinks.
