On Wednesday Darton College held workshop to show small business owners how to maximize those social networking sites.
Dozens of small business owners attended the seminar on how to use social networking sites to grow their business.
“A lot of folks are very interested in Facebook because the adoption rate for Facebook has been very, very high. About 1.5 million businesses have fan pages already,” said Suzanne Barnett, who talked at the program.
Presenters also talked about the use of advertising on Facebook.
They say ads can be used to target people by zip code, age, race and even the pictures that they post.
