Albany Police responded to an alarm going off at Dat's Wassup Fashions on East Oglethorpe.

ALBANY, GA. -- Two attempted burglars caught were in the act are in jail.

Albany Police responded to an alarm going off at Dat's Wassup Fashions on East Oglethorpe. When officers got there they found a suspect with his arm reaching through the front door.

He was arrested and so was an alleged accomplice.

“Things happen children get bored. Some of them do it because of the need. So what we plan to do is definitely work with and see if we can mentor them and get them on the right path,” said store owner Ayasha Banks.

The two suspects are teenagers and their names have not been released.
