ALBANY, GA -- Marijuana isn't the only drug problem in Dougherty County.

Police say they're seeing more people abuse crystal meth and prescription pills.

Albany treatment center, The Anchorage, reports similar trends.

“People using up other pain prescription that they can use in their home and then expanding out into other homes and either stealing it or buying it off the streets,” said director Kenny Phillips.

The Anchorage used to deal solely with alcohol abusers but say they have expanded to deal with the increase of other substance abusers.

The Anchorage is a non-profit organization and is seeking donations from the public. To donate or inquire about services call 229-435-5692.
