Atlanta police are trying to find the reason for a drive-by shooting that left one man dead and another wounded
ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta police are trying to find the reason for a drive-by shooting that left one man dead and another wounded.
Police Major Keith Meadows says a group was driving away from the Pearl Bistro around 4 a.m. Wednesday when another vehicle pulled alongside theirs and someone began to shoot at them.
One passenger was struck in the chest and back, and the vehicle hit a utility pole. Meadows says the driver tried to take the seriously wounded passenger to a hospital but the car broke down. He says emergency medical technicians arrived and took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Meadows says investigators are interviewing the driver and another passenger who was wounded.
