Candidates for the second congressional district square off on the hot issues
ALBANY, GA. -- The Southwest Georgia Tea Party Patriots held a candidate forum Tuesday night at Merry Acres.
Rick Allen, Lee Ferrell, and Mike Keown were the three candidates present, and they are all running to become the republican candidate to square off against Congressman Sanford Bishop in November.
Tea Party officials say they organized the forum to familiarize the voters with the candidate’s stance on issues and to encourage people to vote.
All three candidates discussed their stance on immigration reform, health care reform, taxes, and more.
