Today marked the start of week two of the Riverquest Summer Camp at the Flint RiverQuarium.
ALBANY, GA. -- Today marked the start of week two of the Riverquest Summer Camp at the Flint RiverQuarium.
This week it's the Wild Ocean Camp, a mixture of games, arts and crafts and lessons to teach kids about the ocean and it's ecosystems.
“That's what summer camp is about...fun,” said Melissa Martin of the Flint RiverQuarium. “But here at the Flint RiverQuarium it’s all about science so we have a lot of science camps that go on here, so we want people to learn a little bit about science too. It's a great place for kids to come and they can learn and have fun all at the same time.”
“Wild Ocean camp lasts until the end of the week, but don't worry enrollment is still open for three more summer camps at the RiverQuarium.”
