A man wanted in connection with a dog fighting ring in Southwest Georgia has turned himself in.

Authorities say 32-year-old Demitri Jackson turned himself into police at the Dougherty County Jail Tuesday evening. Jackson is charged with dog fighting and cruelty to children. Jackson reportedly fled from a dog fighting raid on Dower Avenue Saturday night.
