A group of Kiwanis Club members sponsored a “send off rally” for World War II veterans traveling to Washington D.C.

A group of Kiwanis Club members sponsored a “send off rally” for World War II veterans traveling to Washington D.C.

The Kiwanis Club members will drive the veterans to Columbus, Georgia where they will have dinner, assist with hotel check in, and take them to the airport Friday morning.

The vets will spend one day touring the war memorials in Washington before returning to Albany.
