56-year-old man shot in the hip on Cedar Avenue.

Hospital officials say 56-year-old John Johnson is listed in good condition after an early morning shooting Thursday.

Albany police say they arrived on the scene in the 800 block of Cedar Avenue around 2 a.m. That’s where they found Johnson lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the hip. Police say the investigation in ongoing and they have no suspects at this time
