The body of an Adel man missing in Haiti has been found.

Adel Steel President David Apperson was on a business trip with Owner John Scarboro when the earthquake hit January 12. The two men were inside the Hotel Montana when the building collapsed. Scarboro, who is also Apperson’s father-in-law, survived and returned to Georgia a few weeks after the earthquake.

Apperson’s body will undergo an autopsy in Delaware before being returned to Georgia.
