City leaders held a later charrette for people who couldn’t attend the morning session and they say it was productive

In the final charrette session residents, developers, and officials weighed in on what they want downtown Albany to look like.

Residents emphasized a collaboration between the public and private sectors, entertainment, shopping, and residential lofts.

City leaders will now take all of the information gathered from the charrettes and develop a comprehensive plan to present to the people of Albany.

The goal is to pick a few items everyone supports and move forward with their development to work toward making the vision of a new downtown Albany a reality.
