The winning ticket won $500,000

A winning lotto ticket for $500,000 was sold right here in Albany.

The Oasis gas station on South Slappey Boulevard sold the winning ticket. The winner does not wish his name to be known. Gas station owner, Dilip Joshi says they've had lots of luck with the lotto tickets they've sold in the past and invites everyone to buy from his store.

The lucky numbers were drawn on Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
