(AP) -- The state's top politicos will be up early to address the Georgia Chamber of Commerce at the annual Eggs and
Issues Breakfast.

Gov. Sonny Perdue and Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle will headline the morning event, which will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center. It will be newly-elected Speaker of the House David Ralston's debut before the group.

Lawmakers will convene for the event before tackling the task of further trimming Georgia's heavily-slashed budget.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is also expected to address the crowd, just a week after he was elected the city's 59th leader. Reed, a former state representative, has pledged to forge better relations between the city and state.
