(AP) -- Officials in Clayton County say a 90-year-old man died in a house fire, but five other people in the house managed to escape.

Investigators say the victim, Steven Cundrat, was found beneath rubble inside his two-story home in Forest Park Thursday night.

They say they attempted to rescue him but smoke and flames made it difficult.

They say the fire apparently started when a space heater in the basement came in contact with water.
