This morning local officials proclaimed today as Albany’s Neighborhood Watch Association Day
Members from the Albany Police Department, and City and County Commissioners honored local representatives from neighborhood watch groups by proclaiming today “Neighborhood Watch Association Day.”
County Commission Chairman Jeff Sinyard thanked all of the neighborhood watch representatives for the active role they play in their communities.
City Commissioner Jon Howard says he hopes this will turn into a celebration next year of communities coming together and working with the police to make Albany safer.
