24-year-old Ronald Clemons accused of killing three people
(AP) -- A DeKalb County detective has testified that a September shooting that left three people dead, including a toddler, resulted from an argument over a game of dominoes.
Detective R.B. Bryant revealed that motive at a Tuesday hearing during which Magistrate Judge C. David Wood bound over 24-year-old Ronald Clemons' case to Superior Court.
Byrant testified that Clemons was playing dominoes with 39-year-old Grover Strickland and 54-year-old Michael Thomas in the early morning hours of Sept. 22.
He said witnesses reported an argument broke out and Clemons was asked to leave several times after he got loud and began cursing.
Clemons left and is accused of returning with an assault rifle.
He's accused of killing Strickland, Thomas and 3-year-old Janiyha Daniels.
A woman who was shot twice in the shoulder survived.
