The deadline to register for the November election is midnight Tuesday.
Dougherty County Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson says all voter registration forms must be post marked with an October 5 date. Nickerson says you can register at government center, pick up a form at the library or DMV, or download one online. You must also fill out the form if you've moved since registering last year and wish to vote in your new location. Nickerson says this year has been much slower than last year’s presidential election since there is only one contested election for Albany’s Ward 3 commission seat.
There are about 50,000 registered voters in Dougherty County.
