Cordele police have arrested a teenager and charged him with a Friday night murder.

Police say 17-year-old Maraquarius Greene shot and killed 62-year-old Walter Bell. Greene allegedly confronted Bell as the victim was walking home. Police say they do not know what the argument was about. Police say Greene shot Bell twice in the torso. Police found Bell in the middle of the street and took him to Crisp Regional Hospital where Bell later died.

Additional charges are pending.
