Atlanta crash of 3 cars, 6 motorcycles injures 8

The chain-reaction crash was the result of vehicles following too closely

(AP) -- A crash involving three cars and six motorcycles on I-75 in Henry County has sent eight people to the hospital.

Henry County Police Capt. Jason Bolton said there were no life-threatening injuries after the crash, which occurred around 1p.m. Sunday. All northbound lanes were closed for nearly two hours following the accident.

Bolton said the chain-reaction crash apparently resulted from vehicles following too closely.
