Family thanks community for support
Some of the nearly 200 family and friends wore sunglasses upon entering the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, maybe to help hide the tears. Saturday the Fenns said good bye to their three year old little boy Jeremiah Jr.
Jeremiah Sr., the father, is going to miss the little things.
“I love my son. I’m going to miss the times taking him fishing, teaching him how to tie his shoes, riding a bike; I’m going to miss him,” said Fenn.
Meanwhile, Jeremiah Jr.’s one year old sister, Ja’el still remains in critical condition in the Augusta Burn Center. Ja’el’s burns weren’t as severe because during the fire Jeremiah Jr. was covering her, protecting her.
The family says what’s going to get them through the next challenging days, weeks, and months is their faith and help from you.
Jeremiah Jr.’s aunt, Ramona Fenn-Jones is appreciative of the communities’ support.
“The family would like to thank everybody for their donations so far and if anybody has any other donations they can put them in Sun Trust. We have an account set up in Sun Trust under Faith Deliverance. I think Jeremiah Fenn, the Fenn family,” said Fenn-Jones.
