Edison murder suspect is arrested
The suspect in the Edison murder turns himself in to police today.
GBI agent Mike Lewis tells Fox 31 news, 21-year-old Terial Pittman surrendered to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department. Pittman is accused of shooting 19-year-old Cyrus Butler to death yesterday afternoon at the Pure gas station. Lewis says the two had some type of verbal argument outside the store, then went inside briefly, and when the two came out, Pittman grabbed his gun and shot Butler.
Pittman is facing murder charges.
